Sunrise on San Diego Bay at the Manchester Grand Hyatt was the perfect backdrop for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation to showcase the luminous talents of its 2005 awardees! At the Annual ASHFoundation Founders Breakfast, loyal donors applauded 42 new awardees who received recognition and/or funding for scholarships, research grants, and clinical achievement awards.
An exciting new announcement was made at the Breakfast about the creation of a NSSLHA Scholarship Fund. The National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association has donated $25,000 to the the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation and will be raising another $25,000 through it 2005-2006 NSSLHA Loves Campaign. The ASHFoundation’s endowment fund will eventually support an annual scholarship to a NSSLHA chapter student studying in communication sciences and disorders.
