Sizzle on South Beach for our Sixtieth was the theme of the ASHFoundation's 2006 Founders Breakfast where more than 260 loyal donors, corporate sponsors, past awardees, and friends of the ASHFoundation gathered to honor 48 sizzling new awardees who received recognition and/or funding for scholarships, research grants, and clinical achievement awards. The cosmopolitan Loews Hotel in Miami, Florida served as the venue for this early morning breakfast gala where the ASHFoundation awarded almost $200,000 and celebrated 60 Years of Giving. Since 1946 the ASHFoundation has been furthering cutting-edge research, ensuring excellence in the training of future generations of professionals, and fostering advances in clinical care through its funding and recognition programs.
