For exemplary work in co-founding the Assistive Technology Library of Alaska and for providing assistive technology and related clinical services to rural/remote areas of Alaska, reaching an underserved population of children and adults with communication disorders. (Privratsky is also the recipient of the ASHFoundation's 2003 Louis M. DiCarlo Award for Recent Clinical Achievement.)

For accomplishments in the areas of early identification of communication disorders and autism spectrum disorders, specifically evidenced by her development of assessment tools, family-centered demonstration projects, and expansion of knowledge of autism through publications and presentations.

For her leadership in mentoring an undergraduate student group to plan and implement a Phonological Early Awareness Program, a community-based service project that targets language development and literacy with infants and toddlers in a child care setting.

For implementing a successful treatment approach for preschool clients with severe articulation disorder using a structured, individualized oral motor program in conjunction with articulation therapy.

For conceptualizing and administering the Mount Sinai Series in Communication Disorders, an annual clinically oriented conference series respected throughout the state as a cutting-edge professional continuing education event.
