NSSLHA Scholarship Fund

The ASHFoundation's NSSLHA Scholarship Fund, established in 2005 through a collaboration with the NSSLHA Executive Council, will fund an annual scholarship to a student with national-level membership in NSSLHA who is pursuing a degree in communication sciences and disorders. Through the NSSLHA 40/40 Challenge, the NSSLHA Loves program and other fundraising initiatives, NSSLHA students and ASHA members across the country have been working to raise sufficient funds to fully endow the NSSLHA Scholarship Fund. Individual donors have also contributed, as well as 5 ASHA Special Interest Groups. The Fund has now reached $105,500.

Guidelines for the ASHFoundation NSSLHA Scholarship Program to be supported by the NSSLHA Scholarship Fund are currently in development, and the ASHFoundation hopes to award the first NSSLHA Scholarship in November 2012 at the ASHA Atlanta Convention.
