Special Research Initiatives

As the "change master" for the professions, the Foundation periodically sponsors special research grants designed to advance knowledge and facilitate new directions. These initiatives may focus on fostering innovation, such as new technology initiatives, or may respond to high priority needs in the field, such as measuring efficacy and outcomes of our clinical treatments or encouraging research mentoring. These grants are not sponsored on an annual basis. Look for announcements of new research initiatives in the Funding Opportunities or News sections of this Web site.
