New Researcher-Practitioner Collaboration Grant Offered in 2018

New in 2018, the ASHFoundation will offer the Researcher-Practitioner Collaboration Grant—a funding opportunity designed to encourage research projects that are generated from established teams of academic/organizational researchers and clinical practitioners.

The Researcher-Practitioner Grant will provide support for collaborative investigations that have the potential to enhance evidence for improving communication sciences and disorders services. The funding targets preliminary studies that will lead to larger scale studies in implementation science.

The ASHFoundation Board of Trustees designed this funding source to help address the research-to-practice gap for improving services to individual with communication disorders. The intention is to provide needed and viable funding for early stage collaborative research that will lead to scale-up studies of demonstrable impact.

In 2018, 4 one-to-two year awards in the range of $35,000 per grant will be offered. Further information on grant submission procedures will be available in January, 2018. To learn more about this new grant email [email protected] or call us at 301-296-8703.
