2016 New Investigators Research Grant
Note: These 2016 guidelines are available to serve as a reference. Research grant guidelines and submission instructions are updated each year. The new guidelines will be available in early 2017.
Nature of the Competition
The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (ASHFoundation) invites new researchers to submit proposals in competition for up to ten research grants of $10,000 each. The New Investigators Research Grant competition is designed to help further new investigators' research activities by funding preliminary studies that could launch larger-scale research investigations. Research, while not limited in topic, should be focused to match the one-year scope and should have clinical relevance to audiology and/or speech-language pathology.
All research grant recipients will be announced and recognized at the November 2016 ASHA Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Interested individuals should carefully read the section on eligibility, and having determined that all criteria are met, prepare a proposal for submission.
