Get ready to applaud the great work to change lives of people facing communication challenges. Whether you are traveling to Washington, D.C. to attend the 2021 ASHA Convention in person, or attending virtually, you are invited to experience a unique occasion. The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation proudly marks its Diamond Anniversary with a celebration of its 2021 Annual Awards announcements.

This hybrid gathering, honoring our 2021 award recipients takes place on November 18, 2021, at 7:30 p.m., ET.

Join us:

  • In-Person ($75 per ticket): at Planet Word Museum, Great Hall, 925 – 13th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005. In-person attendance is very limited, tickets available while supplies last.
  • Virtually ($20 per ticket): Watch through a link we will provide.

Planet Word, a language arts museum that opened in Washington, D.C. in October 2020 at the historic Franklin School, is described as "the museum where language comes to life." The Great Hall, where the after-hours ASHFoundation Watch Party will occur, is considered its architectural centerpiece. Guests who desire to view featured exhibits will have an opportunity to do so during regular daytime museum hours and general admission is free.To Purchase Ticket(s):

Please note that the Planet Word Museum is pending the status of pandemic-related safety regulations. If unable to hold the in-person event at the museum, the ASHFoundation will relocate to a ballroom in one of the ASHA convention hotels. The ASHFoundation will send further information about participating, whether in-person or virtual, to all ticketholders as available.
