The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation’s Annual Giving Campaign raises money for the General Fund, as well as several special endowment funds. These funds make it possible for us to:
- Support the brightest, most promising students in communication sciences and disorders through scholarship awards.
- Make early investments in priority research to advance services for millions of people with communication disorders who are striving to connect. The ASHFoundation awards thousands of dollars in research grants each year.
- Recognize outstanding, innovative clinical achievement through special recognition awards.
General Fund donations are essential to sustaining the ASHFoundation's current core programs. Without this type of donor support, our annual funding awards would not be possible.
We have funded more than 2,500 doctoral and post-doctoral researchers, graduate students, and leaders over the years with more than $12.8 million in awards. With almost 500 applications to various funding programs annually, there are many more promising studies and qualified individuals in need of funding.
